Family-Friendly Environment

We strive to create a family-friendly environment where positive memories can be made and families can enjoy the beauty of God’s creation in a safe, peaceful environment.

So that every family can have a great experience with us, we ask that all guests please adhere to a few rules and policies.


Check In Time:

3:00PM – 10:00PM

Check Out Time:

1:00PM
10:00AM for rental units (Rental RVs or Cabins)

Entrance Gate

Opens at 7:00AM

Exit gate open 24 hours

Quiet Hours

11:00PM – 7:00AM
Please be considerate of your neighbor at all times – day and night. No radio, loud talking, or camp set-up after 10:00PM. All children under 18 must return to their campsite by dusk.

Pool

Open 10:00AM — 10:00PM
No life guard on duty! Swim at your own risk.

Ice Cream Shop

Open 12:00PM – 10:00PM*
*Hours vary by season. For most current hours, check hours posted on shop window.

Garbage

Pickup is at 10:00AM and 7:00PM daily
For your convienience, leave securely tied trash bags by your site marker for pick-up. Dumpsters are located off the main parking lot.

Laundry

We have onsite coin operated laundry facilities available 24/7 in the Cove.


Pool:

No lifeguard on duty! Swim at your own risk. Swimmers should shower prior to entering the pool area and must have proper swimming attire. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Swim diapers must be worn by children who are not yet toilet trained. Please use modesty in your swimming attire. Pool is open between Memorial and Labor Day weekends.


Garbage/Dumpster:

Dumpsters are located off the main parking lot. Please dispose of all garbage in
correct receptacles. Your campfire is NOT for garbage. For your convenience, staff will pick up securely tied trash bags placed at the front of your site at 10:00AM and 7:00PM. Please do not place any trash after 8:00PM.


Cove Store Delivery:

We can deliver items to your campsite that are purchased at the Cove Store including wood, ice, and more. Ask our Retail staff for this service.


WiFi:

WiFi is available at the Cove. This is an open network, no password required. Because of our beautiful, rural area, our internet has limited bandwidth and we are only able to offer it in this location at this time. Thank you for your understanding.


Visitor Policy:

Visitors are welcome but must register with the office, pay fee ($10 per adult, $5 per child), and obtain a gate pass. We ask all guests to depart by 10:00 PM.

Campsite Expectations


Site Selection:

When booking your reservation you have the option to lock in a specific site number for an added fee of $35 per site. If you do not have a site preference, book whichever site type suits you best and you will receive your specific site number at check-in! Groups are highly encouraged to lock in their sites to remain together. Reserve Now


Cancellation Policy:

A 10-day cancellation notice is required prior to the scheduled day of arrival. A
$25.00 cancellation fee is taken on acceptable cancellations. Cancellations and dropped nights within 10 days of scheduled stay will result in loss of deposit. There are no refunds for early departures. A reservation can be moved to a later date if there is availability at no charge, unless changed within 10 days of scheduled arrival. Changes within 10 days of arrival will result in a $10 reservation change fee.


Reservations:

The site fee covers two adults and their minor children. Two additional adults may stay on a campsite for an added fee. No more than one RV, one tent, and two vehicles per site. Extra vehicles/trailers need to be parked in the overflow parking lot near the entrance.


Groups:

If you have any questions about your site or group information, please contact your group coordinator.


Tents:

Tents are welcome on the Water and Electric sites (Grassy Lots). If using a tent on a Full Hook-Up site, please keep the tent on the parking or cement pad.


Picnic Tables:

Guests are welcome to move their picnic table for group dining. We ask that you return it to your site prior to departure.

Family Friendly Conduct

Grace Adventures desires to provide a safe environment for all employees, campers, and guests. To provide an environment that is family friendly and that focuses on learning more about a deepening relationship with Christ rather than things that are not compatible. The following are the expectations to ensure compatibility:

Alcohol:

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the grounds or in the facilities at any time.

Smoking/Intoxicants:

Illegal substances and intoxicants are prohibited. Marijuana and alcohol are also prohibited. Smoking is prohibited in and around all buildings and outdoor common spaces and activity sites. Smoking is only permitted on your site. Please do not leave any cigarette butts on the ground.


Profanity:

Please use clean language. This is a family campground and we ask that you respect the other guests.


Modest Swimwear:

Please use modesty in your swimming attire.


Christ-Like Conduct:

Words and acts of our guests should align with Dunes Harbor Family Camp’s
purpose as stated above and align with our Statement of Faith. Therefore, conduct or behaviors that are intentionally or unintentionally not aligned are to be refrained from.


Pets:

Pets must be kept leashed and never left unattended. You are responsible for immediate clean up after your pet. Pets are not allowed in the bathhouse, store, pool area, or playgrounds. Excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. If damage is done by your pet, you are responsible to pay for said damage. Two dog limit per site. See map for dog run area.


Bikes:

For safety of riders and pedestrians there is no bike riding after dusk. Bikes, skate boards, and roller blades are not permitted on the boardwalk. Please be courteous of pedestrians. Please do not park bikes on sidewalks.


Campfires:

No fires except in the rings, only wood and charcoal should be burned in the park. Moving fire rings will result in a $100.00 fine. Please be mindful of children around fire and always put your fire out when retiring for the night. All fires must be extinguished by 1:00 am. Collection of firewood from anywhere in the campground is strictly prohibited and will result in a $100.00 fine.


Sprinklers:

To ensure quality facilities, the lawn is watered nightly. Please be cautious when leaving camping gear on the lawn on full hook-up sites.


Permitted Vehicles:

At no time will guests be allowed to start an ORV such as a quad, dune buggy, dirt bike, etc. in the campground. ORVs may be parked in the main parking lot.  Please tune engines at the dunes.  Only street-legal vehicles that are driven by licensed drivers allowed in the campground. Speed limit is 10 mph, please be on the lookout for children.


Extra Vehicles:

Two vehicles are allowed per site. Extra vehicles/trailers need to be parked in the overflow parking lot near the entrance. Golf carts are permitted in the campground but must be driven by a licensed driver. Visitors must register with the office, pay fee ($10 per adult, $5 per child), and obtain a gate pass. We ask all guests to depart by 10:00 PM.


Fireworks/Firearms:

Fireworks and firearms are prohibited in the campground at any time.


Maintenance:

Campsite must be kept clean during the length of your stay. Please respect our property and leave the campsite as it was found. Any damage to the family campground will be charged to the registered responsible party and you may be evicted from the campground. Parents or guardians will be held responsible and financially liable for actions of their children, visitors, and themselves. Cutting, injuring, or driving nails into the trees is prohibited. Please notify us of any defacing of campground property.


Eviction:

If security or management has to come to your site for any disruptive behavior, you will be asked to correct it.  If behavior continues you will be asked to leave in a quiet and orderly manner. If you refuse, the authorities will be called. We value your patronage but we will not tolerate any guests who disregard or disrespect their neighbors and our property.

As stated earlier, Grace Adventures desires to provide an environment that is family friendly and that focuses on learning more about a deepening relationship with Christ rather than things that are not compatible. Any violation of the stated expectations or other disruptive behavior may result in being addressed and dealt with as we feel is appropriate and necessary. This could be up to and including being removed from the campground.
