dunes harbor family campMessage From The Campground Manager

Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we have worked to determine a new opening date in light of new government directives and orders. We know you are as eager to come camping as we are to have you here!

Unfortunately, there has not been any further clarification on campgrounds being able to open and we will remain closed through June 4. On June 4th we will make a decision regarding if we will be able to open starting June 5th.

If at any point, you have a question about your reservation, please feel free to contact our office. We would love to talk you through your options and how we can best serve you and your family.

Thank you again for your support, and we hope to see you all soon!

While we are taking every action to manage risk to health and safety, we also continue to rely on God’s provision and peace. We eagerly look forward to what God will do as families build memories that will last for generations. If there is any way we can be praying for your family, please let us know.

Q: How will refunds be handled if my reservation takes place during a current or future Stay Home order?
A: We will communicate with guests by email and our website. Deposits made on reservations can be moved to a future stay, we will issue a full refund, or you might consider donating part of your deposit to support Grace Adventures, the ministry of which Dunes Harbor is a part.

Q: How will my Spring Special be affected by the Stay Home order?
A: Dunes Harbor will pro-rate specials based on when the Stay Home order is lifted. This can be applied to a future stay or issued as a refund.

Q: Will the bathhouses be open?
A: When the campground is able to open we will have bathhouses open as well.

Q: Will there be any special policies in place at check-in?
A: Upon arrival, all Dunes Harbor guests will be required to complete a health screening for all members of their party to ensure they are not exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. Guests will also be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver and liability form.

Q: Will the pool and playground be open?
A: At this time we are not able to open the pool, playground, sandbox, hammocks, and volleyball court. We hope to open many more activities as the season progresses and new guidance from national, state, and local authorities is available.

A: We are working on modified activities that will be fun for your family and be compliant with staying physically distant. At this time we will be offering pony rides, horseback trail rides, and single family activities.

A: Due to increased health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, Dunes Harbor sites and amenities may only be used by registered guests. No day visitors will be allowed until further notice.

Q: Where can I find an RV rental with a bathroom?
A: Dunes Harbor does have limited availability for our rental units. We also work with Silver Lake RV Rental. They are very familiar with our campground and deliver and set up for you on-site. Visit their website at https://silverlakervrental.com  for more information.
